Medical Oncology, Hematology

Ningjing Li, M.D., Ph.D. is a dedicated medical oncologist and hematologist passionate about guiding patients and their families through every stage of the cancer journey with clarity, compassion, and personalized care. Her path to medicine was deeply influenced by caring for her father during his experiences with acute pancreatitis and, later, pancreatic cancer. These personal experiences gave her a profound appreciation for the impact thoughtful, knowledgeable physicians can have during life’s most challenging moments and inspired her commitment to oncology.
Dr. Li is known for her patient-centered approach, grounded in shared decision-making. She believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s goals, values, and priorities, while providing clear, evidence-based guidance. Drawing from both her clinical expertise and her perspective as a caregiver, she works collaboratively with patients and their families to develop treatment plans that align with what matters most to them.
She finds the most meaning in helping patients navigate uncertainty—whether by explaining a diagnosis, outlining treatment options, or supporting comfort-focused care. Empowering patients with knowledge and helping them feel confident in their decisions is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.
Dr. Li’s passion for oncology is fueled by both the complexity of the human body and the rapid pace of advancements in cancer research. She approaches care holistically, recognizing that treating cancer involves not only addressing the disease, but also supporting the patient’s overall health, quality of life, and long-term well-being.
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Li enjoys baking and exploring global cuisines. She values creativity, balance, and cultural connection—qualities that also shape her compassionate and thoughtful approach to patient care.
