Beth Hellerstedt, M.D., is board certified in hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Hellerstedt has practiced in Austin since 2003. She always wanted to be a physician and gravitated to hematology and oncology during medical school.
Dr. Hellerstedt has numerous awards and accolades. In 2001-2002, she was awarded the Glaxo Smith Kline Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health National Service Research Award. Dr. Hellerstedt also received the Bronze Beeper Award and, in 1999, Excellence in Resident Training. She was also an elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1997.
