Lalan Wilfong, M.D., is a medical oncologist/hematologist with Texas Oncology, PA. In addition to patient care, he works for Thyme Care focusing on aligning payment models with improved patient outcomes.
Dr. Wilfong’s current research interest focuses on aligning quality patient care and value in a community setting. He is the physician leader for alternative payment models for Texas Oncology, including the Oncology Care Model. Other areas of focus include improving patient and physician communications, enhancing end-of-life care, integrating pathways into clinical practice, and improving patient satisfaction. Dr. Wilfong serves as a board member of the Cancer Support Community.
