About
Aena M. Patel, M.D., is board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology. Dr. Patel has been recognized for providing compassionate patient-centered care by being inducted into the “Gold Humanism Honor Society” and receiving the “Humanistic Resident of The Year” award during her internal medicine residency. An advocate of community service, Dr. Patel has served internationally as a medical volunteer in the Dominican Republic and Peru. She served locally in Texas as co-director of Martha’s Health Clinic and community service representative as a medical student. Originally from Plano, Texas, Dr. Patel looks forward to practicing medicine close to home.
