About
Scott A. McKenney, M.D., FACP, is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. Dr. McKenney served on the Texas Oncology Board of Directors for six years. He is a member of the US Oncology Research Network GI Committee.
Dr. McKenney received the Otho Plummer Scholarship Award as valedictorian from Lamar University. At Baylor College of Medicine, he was selected to Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated with honors. He was selected to fellowship in the American College of Physicians.
Dr. McKenney is a founding member of the South East Texas Community Access To Health Care. Dr. McKenney was a Cancer Liaison Physician with the American College of Surgeons and active in Ensuring Cancer Programs at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. He is the clinical research site leader for Texas Oncology in Beaumont, Texas. He has a special interest in breast, lung, genitourinary and GI cancers.
