About
Peter J. DeMaria, M.D., is board certified in hospice and palliative medicine, internal medicine, and medical oncology. He is senior clinical investigator with a focus on early phase drug development at NEXT Oncology.
Dr. DeMaria previously served as a medical officer with the Office of Oncologic Diseases, Office of New Drugs, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Dr. DeMaria focuses on the development of novel cancer therapies. His skills include clinical trial methodology and analysis, as well as clinical aspects of medical product development. His expertise also includes regulation to facilitate the movement of drugs, biologics, and devices from early stage research commercialization.
