Medical Oncology, Hematology

Overview
About
Asha Karippot, M.D., FACP, is board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology. She entered medicine through a combination of personal experience, scientific fascination, and a deep desire to provide hope in the face of uncertainty. Her initial exposure came when a close family member was diagnosed with cancer. Witnessing their journey, she saw how profoundly the physician's role extended beyond clinical care – into emotional support, guidance, and advocacy. Ultimately, Dr. Karippot was drawn to the challenges of oncology for the complexity of the disease. She also felt compelled to walk beside people with cancer during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. She aspires to be a physician who treats cancer, but also supports the person enduring it with empathy, respect, and unwavering dedication.
She enjoys dancing, traveling, and seeking out new adventures.
