Shruti Sharma, D.O., FACP

Shruti Sharma, D.O., FACP, is board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology. Her research interests include solid tumor malignancies, specifically breast cancer, gastrointestinal malignancies, and lung cancer. While in training, her research in breast cancer was recognized, leading to publication.

Dr. Sharma strives to create a positive environment by encouraging open dialogue and communication with each person regarding their cancer diagnosis. She understands that no two people are the same. Each person deserves an individualized treatment plan, meticulously crafted by the most up-to-date evidence-based guidelines, compassion, and strong supportive care. It is her privilege to take care of the San Antonio community and provide high quality care for her patients.

Dr. Sharma has many interests, including tennis, swimming, playing violin, yoga, and spending time with her cat. She prides herself on being a life-long learner.
