Mani Akhtari, M.D., is board certified in radiation oncology. He has a special research interest in the treatment of lung, breast, and colon cancers. His interest in the intersection of advanced technology and compassionate patient care sparked his journey to radiation oncology. He was particularly drawn to the precision that modern advances in radiation provides, which also minimizing side effects. Witnessing the impactful role radiation therapy plays in improving patient outcomes and quality of life solidified his commitment. Dr. Akhtari cherishes this opportunity every day, and he is inspired by the courage of the people with cancer.
