Texas Oncology to Open 32,000 SF Cancer Care Center in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, TEXAS — Texas Oncology will open a 32,000-square-foot cancer care center on the Christus Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth medical campus in Beaumont. The center will provide medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, chemotherapy, genetic counseling and lab services.

Texas Oncology (Dallas) broke ground on a new comprehensive cancer care center on the Christus Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth hospital campus, in Beaumont, Texas. The 32,000-square-foot project will provide medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, chemotherapy, genetic counseling, and lab services and house double the number of infusion chairs of Texas Oncology’s current facility, a linear accelerator for radiation treatment, and an on-site pharmacy.

Texas Oncology broke ground June 15 on a new 32,000-square-foot cancer care center that will enhance the level of cancer care available to patients in Southeast Texas. Located on the CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth hospital campus, the new comprehensive cancer center will provide medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, chemotherapy, genetic counseling and lab services, as well as provide clinical trials. Radiation services will be provided in collaboration with CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth.

Texas Oncology to Expand Radiation Oncology Services Through Acquisition from Del Sol Medical Center

Texas Oncology expanded its radiation oncology services in El Paso through an agreement to acquire the radiation assets at Del Sol Medical Center. Texas Oncology will offer an additional site that provides integrated, centralized care to patients whose comprehensive cancer treatment plans include radiation therapy now.

Within the next year, Southeast Texas cancer patients will have another choice for treatment in the area. Many cancer patients and their families struggle to get care here at home. Many find themselves driving hours back and forth from Houston just to get the care they need. Texas Oncology Opens New Cancer Center In Las Colinas
