About
Dr. Pearson is particularly focused on hematologic malignancies, including CLL, CML, AML, multiple myeloma, and B-cell lymphomas (DLBCL, follicular, mantle cell, marginal zone, small lymphocytic, among others). He is active in clinical trial research programs at the Sammons Cancer Center and within Texas Oncology. Dr. Pearson is familiar with and provides the most up-to-date, cutting-edge treatments for hematologic malignancies, including CAR-T and bispecific antibodies.
Dr. Pearson contributes to medical advancement as the local principal investigator for numerous clinical trials, as the clerkship director for fourth-year medical students at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, and as a preceptor and educator for internal medicine residents and hematology fellows at Baylor University Medical Center. He delivers educational lectures for medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as for his colleagues in medicine. Dr. Pearson is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine.
Dr. Pearson enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and amateur astronomy. He is the father of four children (soon to be five) and is active in his local parish.
