Aleena S. Itani, M.D.

Aleena S. Itani, M.D., is board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology. Before medical school, Dr. Itani conducted translational research. She was drawn to medicine, and oncology specifically, because it affords an opportunity to have a strong relationship with the people she treats.

Her approach to patient care is collaborative, education-focused, and patient-centered. She often collaborates with her colleagues for additional perspectives. Dr. Itani presents evidenced-based information to guide treatment plans. She also respects autonomy of decision-making by the people in her care.
