Andrew Lee, M.D., MPH, of Texas Center for Proton Therapy will give an educational session on Genitourinary prostate cancer on Tuesday, May 9, during the 56th Annual Conference of the Particle Therapy Co-operative Group (PTCOG56).
As particle therapy continues to grow and evolve, the Annual Conference of the Particle Therapy Co-operative Group has grown to be the premier scientific meeting in the field. The Particle Therapy Co-operative Group is a non-profit world-wide organization that focuses on educating doctors on the technology and clinical practice of particle therapy. From May 8-13, doctors and experts from around the world will convene to speak on the accuracy and efficacy of ion-beam radiotherapy in the 21st century. Texas Center for Proton Therapy is honored to have Dr. Lee educate specialists from around the world on the use of proton therapy to treat genitourinary cancers such (e.g. prostate, bladder, testicular cancer) and to share the important advancements from our center with the rest of the proton therapy field.
