About
Luis Pineiro, M.D., is board certified in hematology and internal medicine. Dr. Pineiro is medical director for the bone marrow transplant program. He has a research interest in the treatment of hematological malignancies and stem cell transplants.
Dr. Pineiro wanted to become a physician from an early age. He finds it rewarding to help people with a critical diagnosis and potentially fatal conditions. Successfully performing stem cell transplants is a very humbling experience for him and gives him a different perspective on life. Dr. Pineiro finds it meaningful when a patient’s family members and friends comesto his practice for treatment or advice.
