9/11/2018 - This Saturday, September 15th, the Midland Health Breast Center and Texas Oncology will host the West Texas Breast Symposium. Continuing Education credits are available for nurses, physicians and radiology technicians, and the public is invited to attend as well.

Dr. Robin Akins, radiation oncologist with Texas Oncology–Midland Allison Cancer Center, discusses how steady declines in breast cancer mortality since 1990 are attributed to a combination of early detection and treatment improvements.
