Treating cancer and blood disorders goes beyond medicine. Midland Allison Cancer Center has a wide range of support services for you and your caregivers. Our services include:

Educational Services

We offer classes for patients to learn more about chemo treatment and its effects.

Nutritional Services

Support Groups

Cancer affects far more than your body; your psychological and emotional health must also be considered. Texas Oncology offers support groups throughout the state of Texas to offer our patients and their family the support they need. Learn more.

The New Beginning Support Group, coordinated by our social worker, is held at the Allison Cancer Center. Please contact our office for more information.

Volunteer Programs

Our volunteer program enables you to make a difference in the lives of our patients. Our volunteers assist by hosting in the lobby and helping to provide sandwiches for patients while receiving chemotherapy. To volunteer or get additional information, please call our center.

Other Services

We feature the “Look Good, Feel Good” shop at our cancer center. This one-of-a-kind shop provides wigs, turbans, hats, and scarves, as well as advice about how to handle the hair loss associated with chemotherapy, all at no charge. You may also receive other beauty services in the shop or a hospital room. The volunteer staff is dedicated to developing and maintaining an efficient, humanistic approach, which offers an extra dimension of care and service for you, empathy for your family and visitors, and support services for the practice’s staff.
