Helen Dinkelspiel Eshed, M.D.

Helen Dinkelspiel Eshed, M.D., is board certified in gynecologic oncology, obstetrics, and gynecology. Dr. Eshed specializes in gynecologic cancers including cervical, uterine or endometrial, ovarian, vulvar, and vaginal cancers as well as gestational trophoblastic disease. Her special interests include research to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. She also educates providers in the community on the newest statistics and advancements in gynecologic oncology treatment and care.

Dr. Eshed is actively involved in clinical trials to individualize patient care and improve patient outcomes and quality of life. She has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications and presents lectures nationally and internationally on research in gynecologic cancers. She was the recipient of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Young Investigator Award grant for her research efforts in minimally invasive gynecologic cancer surgery.

Dr. Eshed provides specialized care while using the latest research and technology to create a comprehensive individualized treatment plans. She treats patients the way she would treat her mother, sister or daughter. In addition to supporting her patients, Dr. Eshed also spends her personal time participating in charitable cancer-related organizations like the Flatwater Foundation and Wonders and Worries. Both organizations not only support the patient, but also family members, another crucial aspect of care.
