General Summary
Mike Lattanzi, M.D., is a medical oncologist with a special focus on genitourinary malignancies, including bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer.
As director of the Texas Oncology Genitourinary Cancer Research Program, and an executive committee member of the Sarah Cannon Research institute, he works with an expert team of dedicated oncologists and cancer researchers across the United States to expand access to clinical trials and novel cancer therapeutics for patients both here in the Austin area and throughout the state of Texas.
Dr. Lattanzi was born and raised in Wilmington, DE and relocated to New York City for medical training at NYU Langone Health and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He moved to central Texas in 2022 with his wife, Dr. Irina Dimitrova, who practices internal medicine. Together they have two young children and are happy to call Austin home for their growing family.
