Educational Services

We offer classes for patients to learn more about chemo treatment and its effects.

Nutritional Services

West Texas Cancer Center and Medical Center Hospital work collaboratively to provide access to a dietitian.

Support Groups

A breast cancer support group and a surviving cancer support group are available through collaboration with Medical Center Hospital. Please call 432-640-6000 for more details.

Volunteer Programs

Our volunteer program enables you to make a difference in the lives of our patients. To volunteer or get additional information, please call our center. Our volunteers assist by hosting in the lobby and helping to provide sandwiches for patients while receiving chemotherapy.

Where to Eat

Quizno’s and a hospital cafeteria are available at Medical Center Hospital, adjacent to the center.

Where to Stay

Hope House Odessa is available for cancer patients in active treatment. Please call our office for details.

Other Services

We feature the “Look Good, Feel Good” shop at our cancer center. This one-of-a-kind shop provides wigs, turbans, hats, and scarves, as well as advice about how to handle the hair loss associated with chemotherapy, all at no charge. You may also receive other beauty services in the shop or a hospital room. The volunteer staff is dedicated to developing and maintaining an efficient, humanistic approach, which offers an extra dimension of care and service for you, empathy for your family and visitors, and support services for the practice’s staff.
