Sarcoma is a cancer that starts in the connective tissue. Since there is connective tissue throughout the body, it can develop anywhere. That said, there are three main types of sarcoma:
Soft tissue sarcomas
This is the most common type of sarcoma. It grows in fat, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and deep skin.
Bone sarcomas
Is when cancer starts within the bone tissue and cartilage and forms a tumor.
Benign sarcomas
