Research Interest
Dr. Loar believes that research should be a part of any oncology practice and has succeeded in helping to bring clinical trials to the North Austin office so that his patients will have access to the most advanced and up to date care available.
Other Information
Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Loar graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Psychology. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia before completing his residency in Ob/Gyn at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville, where he stayed on as faculty prior to completing his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Michigan, a national pioneer in robotic surgery.
