Procedures

Dr. Loar has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and da Vinci robotic surgery, complex pelvic surgery, and radical surgery for advanced cancers, as well as chemotherapeutic and novel biologic treatments for gynecologic cancers.

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Loar graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Psychology. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia before completing his residency in Ob/Gyn at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville, where he stayed on as faculty prior to completing his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Michigan, a national pioneer in robotic surgery.
