texas oncology more breakthroughs. more victories
Over 100 Texans have become sick with measles recently. To protect our patients and staff, we ask that patients and caregivers avoid coming in to our clinics if they have been near someone with measles, have been diagnosed with measles, or have any symptoms of infection like a fever or a rash. If any of these apply to you and you have a visit booked, please contact your clinic to let them know and book a virtual visit (telehealth) instead. Learn more about how to recognize measles and what you can do to stay safe. View More Important Notifications x

Thomas Anderson, M.D. presented with Patriot Award

February 15, 2017

On Feb. 15, 2017, Dr. Thomas Anderson of Texas Oncology–Bedford was presented with the Patriot Award, which recognizes the supervisor of a member of the National Guard and Reserve, for allowing Dr. Sandeep Gill the flexibility to hold a full-time position as a civilian, while also serving our country as a Reservist.

Dr. Anderson and the entire Texas Oncology–Bedford staff has supported Dr. Sandeep Gill in his decision to serve as a Reservist since joining the U.S. Air Force Reserve in 2015. Everyone continues to collectively work together to make the arrangement possible.

Texas Oncology’s association with the Air Force benefits both its patients and our great nation by giving providers the opportunity to learn new and valuable skills taught by the military.
