Brandon M. Roane, M.D.

Brandon M. Roane, M.D., is board certified in gynecologic oncology, obstetrics, and gynecology. Growing up, Dr. Roane spent a lot of time in the hospital with his mom, a staff assistant to physicians. At an early age, he was fascinated by the patient-doctor relationship. The level of trust a patient places in their physician is an honor and something that’s motivated him throughout his career.

The work he does with people with cancer is extremely gratifying. The specialty of gynecologic oncology allows him to be involved in both the medical and surgical aspect of care. Comprehensive patient care is something Dr. Roane is extremely passionate about. His goal is to not only provide leading-edge clinical care, but to ensure a thorough understanding of the treatment plan. This includes the patient, as well as their support system involved in her medical care.

Dr. Roane’s experiences with people from different walks of life help him relate to patients and their families on many levels. It is important to recognize the person as a whole, because science of medicine is only one aspect of comprehensive care. It is important to acknowledge that each patient is unique to fully understand the factors that can impact clinical care.
