Education
Dr. Wang attended medical school at Shanghai Medical University in Shanghai, China. She then received her Ph.D. in Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 2000 and did her combined Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and The University of Texas in Houston.
Accolades & Memberships
In 2005, Dr. Wang received the following awards: The Carol Cogdell Courtney Fellowship Annual Award, MD Anderson Trainee Excellence Award, Bristol-Myers Squibb Award in Clinic Translational Research, 1st Place poster presentation and the Chiron Fellowship Award for Translational Research in melanoma. American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Dallas County Medical Society and Texas medical Association. Dr. Wang designed several phase I/II clinical trails in cancer immunotherapy and has numerous publications on these studies. Her interest is in hematological malignancies, solid tumors and clinical trials.
