Aena Patel, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist. Dr. Patel received her medical doctorate from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Collin-Fannin County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Indo-American Physicians Society.
Dr. Patel has been recognized for providing compassionate patient-centered care by being inducted into the “Gold Humanism Honor Society” and receiving the “Humanistic Resident of The Year” award during her internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
