Physician Departures

Overview of Texas Oncology physicians who no longer practice within Texas Oncology.

Patient medical records will continue to be maintained by Texas Oncology. To request or transfer your medical records please follow these instructions. The following physicians no longer practice with Texas Oncology.

  • Christopher Buchanan, M.D., has left Texas Urology Specialists effective February 1, 2026. Dr. Buchanan’s new practice location is THMA Burleson Urology, 12001 S. Freeway, Suite 202, Burleson, TX 76028.
  • Janice Tomberlin, M.D., retired from Texas Oncology effective March 26, 2026.
  • Lalan Wilfong, M.D., will be leaving Texas Oncology effective April 10, 2026.
  • Lisa N. Anderson, M.D., will be leaving Texas Breast Specialists effective April 17, 2026.
  • Carlos P. Torres, M.D., will be retiring from Texas Oncology effective April 30, 2026.
