At Texas Oncology, our team of genetic counselors oversee the Genetic Risk Evaluation and Testing (GREAT) program at 79 sites across the state. They have unique roles in training and supporting physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to provide high quality genetics services to patients in their own communities. A genetics appointment at Texas Oncology will be scheduled with a provider who is designated to offer genetic evaluations and who has the immediate support of the genetic counseling team.
