Stephanie C. Han, M.D.

Education

Dr. Han earned her medical degree from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences University of Buffalo. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Millard Filmore Hospital in Buffalo, and completed her residency in radiation oncology at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has more than ten years of experience in treating breast, gastrointestinal, prostate, head and neck and gynecological malignancies. Dr. Han is the author of the chapter on the treatment of vulvar cancer in the book Radiation Oncology: An Evidence-Based Approach which is widely used as a reference book in the practice of radiation oncology. Additionally, Dr. Han has authored and co-authored numerous articles in peer reviewed journals as well as presenting at national conferences.

Prior to moving to El Paso, Dr. Han was medical director of the Radiation Oncology Department at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was also an assistant professor at NYU Medical Center in New York and helped build the new Cancer Center of Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Dr. Han was an elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the American Association of Women Radiologists, the American College of Radiology and the Gynecologic Oncology Group.

Other Information

Dr. Han enjoys fashion, travel and fine cuisine. She was a runway model at the recent fashion show benefiting St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. She is also in the process of forming The Wine and Cuisine Society of El Paso.
