Gustavo E. Guajardo Salinas, M.D.

Gustavo E. Guajardo Salinas, M.D. is board certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery. He was inspired to pursue this field at a young age after seeing several family members undergo cardiothoracic surgery, an experience that sparked a lasting passion for treating diseases of the chest. Dr. Guajardo finds it especially meaningful to help patients during some of their most vulnerable moments, building trust quickly so they can move forward with care and treatment with confidence. He takes a balanced, personalized approach to care, helping patients understand their diagnosis, reviewing evidence-based treatment options, and considering each individual’s lifestyle, questions, and family concerns when developing a plan. Outside of work, Dr. Guajardo enjoys exploring new places in nature, taking road trips, practicing archery, and cooking for his family.
