Urmeel H. Patel, M.D.

Dr. Urmeel H. Patel, a board-certified specialist in Medical Oncology and Hematology, joined Texas Oncology in 2025 and has been caring for patients in the North Houston region since 2018. He has a clinical interest in the management of solid tumors, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and benign hematologic disorders. His research has focused on areas including breast cancer, metastatic bone disease, multiple myeloma, and anticoagulation therapy. Dr. Patel also serves as the Treasurer for the North Branch of the Harris County Medical Society. He is deeply committed to fostering strong, collaborative relationships with his patients, and prioritizing their health and quality of life. Dr. Patel is currently accepting new patients at our Cypress Northwest and The Woodlands Medical Plaza locations.
