Teresa L. Trabert, MS, RN, AGNP-C, ACHPN

Teresa L. Trabert, MS, RN, AGNP-C, ACHPN, has more than 23 years of oncology nursing experience. Teresa earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado.

She began her nursing career at a level one safety net hospital working on the oncology, medical, and surgery unit then transitioned to its outpatient infusion center, where she obtained her Oncology Certified Nurse certification. Teresa later worked at large for-profit hospitals and a blood cancer center treating patients in rural regions.

An advocate for comprehensive cancer care, Teresa returned to the hospital she began her career at to develop a palliative care program. During her eight years as an independent provider, she specialized in palliative medicine and symptom management while obtaining her Adult and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certification.

She now works at Texas Oncology as a nurse practitioner and looks forward to continuing her passion of providing patient care and increasing accessibility to cancer treatment in rural settings.
