About
My interest in medicine began early while watching my hero—our father—care for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. He was a role model who often reminded us, “If something has not been done yet, that does not mean it can never be done.” His dedication and optimism shaped my perspective on medicine and innovation.
During my medical training, I was especially drawn to oncology because it combines innovative science with deeply personal patient relationships. Cancer care requires both medical expertise and compassion, and I was inspired by mentors who demonstrated how meaningful it can be to support patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
What I find most meaningful is the trust patients place in me during an incredibly challenging time. Being able to guide patients through complex decisions, support them through treatment, and celebrate milestones along the way is incredibly rewarding. The relationships built with patients and their families often become deeply meaningful, and it is truly an honor to be part of their care.
My approach to care is patient-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe it is essential that patients feel informed and empowered when making decisions about their treatment. I take time to explain diagnoses and options clearly, and I work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their individual needs and goals.
Bone marrow transplantation and CAR-T cell therapy are areas of medicine that continue to evolve rapidly, with new therapies and research improving outcomes every year. I am passionate about staying current with these advances and helping patients benefit from the latest treatments, including targeted therapies and clinical trials when appropriate. My goal is always to provide care that improves both survival and quality of life.
