Dr. Minal Barve is a highly respected medical oncologist with over 23 years of experience treating a wide range of cancers and hematologic disorders. A valedictorian of her medical college in India, she has held prominent leadership roles, including Chief Medical Officer and Executive Medical Director at Mary Crowley Cancer Research, as well as Medical Director of GDAS, a free clinic dedicated to providing care for indigent patients with curable cancers.
As a principal investigator on more than 200 early-phase clinical trials, Dr. Barve has made significant contributions to advancing cancer therapeutics. Her work has been published in leading medical journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and The Lancet. She is deeply committed to compassionate, individualized care, guided by the philosophy of Sir William Osler, the famed father of modern medicine: “The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.” Outside of medicine, Dr. Barve likes to travel with her husband and 2 daughters and stay active.
