Melissa H. Strubbe, LMSW, OSW-C, was a school social worker before moving into the emergency department at Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX.
Melissa then moved with her family to Wisconsin and began working as a medical social worker for hospice and home care patients. It was an honor for her to be of service to her patients and their families and support them through their end of life.
Melissa is excited to bring that experience to Texas Oncology and looks forward to providing emotional support to her patients and assisting with breaking down barriers to care.
