Hycienth Ahaneku, M.D., Ph.D., is board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology. Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, his father encouraged him to pursue medicine. That early influence planted the seed for the most fulfilling journey of Dr. Ahaneku’s life. He witnessed how people fighting cancer navigated profound diagnoses, often reassessing life’s priorities and building powerful, trust-filled relationships with their physicians. It ignited a passion for oncology.
