Douglas Lee is a board-certified radiation oncologist at Texas Oncology with clinical and research interests in head and neck cancer and prostate cancer. His work in these areas reflects a commitment to advancing treatment outcomes through evidence-based, individualized care. Dr. Lee completed his radiation oncology training at Fox Chase Cancer Center, a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), where he developed a strong foundation in multidisciplinary, guideline-driven oncology care. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Lee has a particular interest in radiosurgery, including Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery, and its applications in delivering precise, high-dose radiation to targeted areas while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. Prior to his career in radiation oncology, Dr. Lee served in the United States Army as a flight surgeon, where he provided medical care to aviation personnel and gained firsthand experience in high-stakes clinical decision-making. This military background instilled a disciplined, mission-focused approach that continues to inform his patient care and professional practice. Dr. Lee is dedicated to combining cutting-edge radiation techniques with compassionate, patient-centered oncology care. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, and rooting for the Fighting Irish.
