About
Bradley W. Christensen, M.D., is hematologist and medical oncologist at Texas Oncology–Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center. He specializes in leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma and has expertise in non-malignant hematologic conditions including clotting and bleeding disorders and disorders of red blood cells and platelets. Dr. Christensen’s main clinical interests include the management of indolent and aggressive lymphomas and the use of bispecific antibody and CAR-T cell therapies. His research interests include the toxicity of targeted lymphoma therapies, the cost of lymphoma cancer care, and the incorporation of novel agents in the management of lymphomas.
Dr. Christensen earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Texas A&M University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he served as a chief resident, and then completed advanced training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in hematology and oncology. He is also certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. He joined Texas Oncology–Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center in 2022.
Dr. Christensen has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of American Medicine and British Journal of Hematology, and presented at the American Society of Hematology national meeting. He serves as the primary investigator for multiple clinical trials at Texas Oncology–Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center and is a member of the statewide Texas Oncology Hematology Steering Committee.
Outside of work, Dr. Christensen enjoys spending time with his wife and threechildren, playing basketball and tennis, watching the world champion Texas Rangers, and reading books on spirituality and the history of medicine.
