Antoinette Matthews, M.D.

Antoinette Matthews, M.D., is board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology. In her practice, Dr. Matthews focuses solely on breast cancer, which allows her to stay up to date with the latest breakthroughs in breast cancer care. Furthermore, by practicing at Texas Oncology, she has the opportunity to enroll patients in innovative clinical trials. Dr. Matthews has special clinical and research interest in breast cancer, particularly in pre-menopausal women.

Dr. Matthews believes that cancer treatment should be individualized as much as possible. Through understanding her patients’ goals and educating them about their disease, she is able to provide evidence-based care that aligns with her patients’ preferences and maintains their quality of life as much as possible.

Dr. Matthews was born and raised in Dallas, TX, and is a graduate of The Hockaday School in Dallas. She enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, browsing new listings on Zillow, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
