Anil R. Singh, M.D.

Anil Singh, M.D., (pronounced like Sing) is board certified in hematology, internal medicine, and medical oncology. Dr. Singh treats cancer with chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy. As a medical oncologist, Dr. Singh coordinates your cancer care between surgeons, radiation oncologists, and primary care physicians. As a hematologist, he treats cancers of the blood and noncancerous conditions, such as iron deficiency. Prior research interest includes lymphoma treatment, including medications to enhance the efficacy of traditional chemotherapies.

He feels blessed to be in Kerrville with a fantastic group of collaborative doctors. He also actively works with talented Texas Oncology specialists, such as surgeons and radiation oncologists, in the greater San Antonio area. Dr. Singh’s goal in caring for patients who are curable is to cure their cancer. For those with incurable cancer, his goal is to honor their wishes and make the most of their remaining time.

His father, a primary care physician, inspired Dr. Singh to pursue medicine. Working summers in his father’s office, he saw firsthand the close bond between physicians and their patients. He found his passion for hematology and oncology while in medical school. Dr. Singh enjoys working out, swimming, reading, and travelling, along with the guilty pleasure of video games.
