Andrae L. Vandross, M.D., is board certified in internal medicine and medicine oncology. Dr. Vandross is originally from Brockton, Mass., and came to Austin by way of Los Angeles in January 2020, from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Vandross is excited to live in Austin and lead the phase I clinical trial group at NEXT Oncology. It will bring new anti-cancer treatments to patients living in the Austin-area and beyond. He is experienced in comprehensive discussions with advanced cancer patients, who are navigating the complex decisions surrounding novel therapeutics. Patient education about phase I clinical trials is his highest priority. His research interests include phase I clinical trials, development of new anti-cancer agents, and molecular genetic targets for cancer therapy.
