Medical Oncology, Hematology

Dr. Aakash Sheth is a medical oncologist and hematologist who believes every patient deserves personalized, evidence-based care delivered with compassion and respect. His interest in oncology is deeply personal: after watching his grandmother battle melanoma, his uncle undergo treatment for head and neck cancer, and his father-in-law face pancreatic cancer, he developed a profound appreciation for the impact cancer has on patients and their families. These experiences inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping patients navigate some of life's most challenging moments.
Dr. Sheth earned his medical degree with Distinction in Research from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He is committed to building long-term relationships with his patients, empowering them through education, and partnering with them to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect both the latest advances in cancer care and each patient's personal goals.
Outside of work, Dr. Sheth is married and enjoys strength training, competitive debate, and stand-up comedy. He's also a self-proclaimed espresso aficionado.
