About
Jill Smith, MPAS, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in gynecologic oncology with Texas Oncology. A native of Granbury, Texas, she is a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie from the Class of 2015 and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.
Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Jill served from 2018 to 2021 providing comprehensive medical care to incarcerated individuals at the Tarrant County Jail. She currently practices in collaboration with Dr. Anna Priebe and Dr. Heather Pulaski, caring for patients with gynecologic cancers including uterine, ovarian, cervical, and vaginal/vulvar cancers. She practices across East Texas at Texas Oncology locations in Tyler, Longview, and Nacogdoches.
In her role, Jill walks alongside women throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis through surgery, chemotherapy, and survivorship care. She has completed specialized training through the Genetic Risk Evaluation and Testing (GREAT) program and provides counseling and testing for hereditary cancer syndromes such as BRCA and Lynch syndrome. She is also passionate about helping patients navigate survivorship and advance care planning with compassion and clarity.
Jill lives in Bullard, Texas with her husband, Matt, and their two children, Jack and Lainey.
