Education
Dr. Aitelli received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She then spent four years at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where she earned a medical technology license and performed research. She graduated from medical school in 2004 from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Dr. Aitelli completed her internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as her medical oncology fellowship, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She has authored and coauthored many articles in peer reviewed journals.
Accolades & Memberships
Dr. Aitelli is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Texas Medical Association, the Tarrant County Medical Society and serves on The US Oncology Network Breast Cancer Research Committee. She is chair of the Cancer Committee at HSW and moderates the multidisciplinary cancer conferences. Dr. Aitelli has also been recognized as a Texas Monthly Rising Star and Super Doctor, a Fort Worth Magazine Top Doctor, and a 360 West Magazine Top Doctor.
