Why a patient should choose treatment at your practice?

Texas Oncology provides treatment and hope to more Texans than any other healthcare provider. With more than 530 physicians and 280 care-delivery locations, we use the same cancer-fighting technology and therapies found in the top cancer centers in America.

Texas Oncology offers a full range of oncology services, including chemotherapy, radiation, laboratory testing, clinical trials and support services, all conveniently located in the familiar setting of your community. Our practices participate in national clinical trials, and our research played a pivotal role in developing more than 100 of the latest FDA-approved cancer drugs.

What is your personal philosophy around patient care?

For me, patient care begins and ends with a genuine love for people and a willingness to spend the time necessary to help them. To be a patient is to be vulnerable; it is to trust another human being with something as precious as his/her health. I consider that trust to be a grave responsibility and I do not take it lightly. A physician, and especially an oncologist, is a healer only to the extent that they have expertise in their field and put the interests of their patients first. I believe that every patient deserves those qualities, and I work hard to cultivate them in myself.
