Education
Dr. Anish Meerasahib earned his medical degree from the University of Kerala in India and completed a master’s degree in exercise physiology at the University of Maryland in College Park. He then completed his internship and residency training at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. During his fellowship, Dr. Meerasahib also spent time at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he received training in bone marrow transplantation. He has participated in clinical research and published articles in the fields of lymphoma, transplantation, genitourinary cancers and cancer fatigue.
Accolades & Memberships
Dr. Meerasahib is a member of the American Cancer Society and American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He received the Houston’s Top Doctors award in Oncology from Houstonia Magazine in 2021.
