Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Mrs. Folkert worked at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio for 7 years as a clinical nurse expert IV and charge nurse of the Aphereis Department. She has extensive work experience in caring for adult patients with autoimmune diseases, hematologic malignancies, and bone marrow transplants.

Mrs. Folkert is married with 3 amazing children. They keep her busy with their sports and after school activities. She is a huge sports fan and loves watching the Cowboys, the Spurs and the Astros.
