Syed Akhtar, M.D.

Education

Dr. Akhtar received his medical degree in 1989 from Dow University of Health Sciences, Dow Medical College, Pakistan. He completed his internship in Carney Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts and did his residency in internal medicine with Department of Medicine, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey. Dr Akhtar received his postgraduate fellowship training from Division of Hematology-Oncology, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas.
