Srikar Malireddy, M.D.

General Summary

Dr. Malireddy previously served as an Internal Medicine physician in the area. He is committed to providing the most effective, compassionate and evidence-based individualized cancer care and treatment of blood disorders.

Education

Dr. Malireddy was a National Merit Scholar prior to obtaining his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India. He completed his Residency and Internship at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in New York. After several years of practicing in a primary care setting, Dr. Malireddy went to the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed his Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship doing oncology clinical trials, and later completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship, and had the opportunity to train with world renowned leaders in the field.

Accolades & Memberships

Dr. Malireddy is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the American Medical Association. Dr. Malireddy received the American Society of Clinical Oncology Trainee Travel Award in 2010 and the American Society of Clinical Pharmacology Therapeutics Presidential Trainee Award in 2008.

Other Information

Having suffered the loss of a family member from cancer in his childhood, he relates closely to his patients and their families. He has a special interest in oncology clinical trials and hopes to bring novel cancer therapies within reach of the area residents. Dr. Malireddy has also authored several scientific publications.
