Erin is an exceptional leader, manager, and human being, and I truly have many more positive things I could say about her. She leads with humility, compassion, and genuine care for every nurse on her team. It is evident how deeply she values each person's well-being. She is thoughtful, attentive, and consistently advocates for healthy work–life balance. She even steps in to take patients herself, modeling exactly what supportive leadership should look like. Erin is hilarious, and when she walks into a room you are guaranteed to laugh. She brings light, connection, and comfort even on the hardest days. She is incredibly helpful and checks in with everyone constantly, making sure people feel supported and heard. She is also an amazing listener and someone who truly hears and understands the people who come to her. Erin is a natural fixer. She helps everyone in the building with problems big and small, turning overwhelming issues into manageable ones. She stepped into her role as a supervisor and absolutely exceeded every expectation. She has thrived, grown, and truly crushed it. It has been such a joy and privilege to know her and work alongside her.

There was a patient and his wife who were getting confused with what medications, what times, and dates to take medication, and when follow ups are for surgery. The wife came to the clinic and Hanna took her into a room, sat down with her, and worked through her calendar and instructions, writing down dates/times and important information for her. The patient and his wife were very grateful. Hanna went above and beyond for this patient.

My young adult son had Nurse Jackie as his Infusion Nurse for 6 of his infusion treatments. She was AMAZING. She immediately connected with my son, explained everything she was doing, was patient to answer our questions, and consistently checked to see if either of us needed anything. Her area is warm and welcoming, and she keeps it tidy and clean. Besides her impeccable professionalism, she took an interest in my son's college studies and ambitions, and she connected with him about their shared experiences on Military childhood. She met him every day with enthusiasm and encouragement and not sympathy. The one time we were not assigned to her, she sought out my son to check on him. As a mother watching from the sidelines during each visit, I felt that Jackie was an Angel that we both needed as we navigated this new world. I am confident that my son's positive mindset, and success of the treatment were directly related to Jackie. She deserves the DAISY AWARD!

She takes on any task—big or small—without hesitation or complaint. Whether it's stepping into a new role, joining a committee, or supporting a project, she does so wholeheartedly and with a positive attitude. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in the way she actively seeks out knowledge about various chemotherapies and treatments. She has quickly become a go-to resource for questions, and her colleagues rely on her expertise and willingness to help. When working alongside Megan, it's impossible not to notice her generosity. Even on the busiest days and juggling countless responsibilities, she is constantly checking in on others and offering support. Her attention to detail and deep compassion for her patients make her an invaluable member of our team. Many of her patients consider her like family, and it's easy to see why. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine care leave a lasting impact on everyone she meets. We absolutely love Megan and feel so incredibly lucky to have her on our team.

Priscilla is our infusion supervisor and is the most selfless boss I've had. She is here from 7:30 until 5 or later every day. She will drop everything to come to the rescue of a patient having a reaction or a patient that is a hard stick. She manages a very fast-paced infusion department and never complains. She always has a smile on her face and hand to lend. She not only manages our department, but she helps with the scheduling when needed, orders supplies for the whole center and never loses her patience. She is always kind to employees and patients and is so very deserving of this award!

I recently had a challenging time with some news that looked like a setback in my progress. I was feeling down and needed encouragement, so I asked for a staff member to call me. There was Rachel on the phone, and I was so glad to hear her sweet gentle voice always expressing sincere concern for my every need no matter how trivial it may have seemed to me. After expressing my recent issues and lack of energy, appetite, and other symptoms, she was right there to give me some practical and simple suggestions and encouragement. She always takes time to really listen to me. Her voice alone lifts my spirit, and I always leave our conversation feeling renewed with hope. I'm so blessed to have her in my life at this time while battling ovarian cancer. She is my bouquet of flowers that makes me smile. She is my cheerleader. I hope many women in my position can be blessed by her. I wish I could give her a big hug. She deserves a Daisy Award.

I would like to nominate Sarah because she exemplifies all the qualities of the DAISY award. Her personality with our patients is as sweet as the flower and her attention to detail is like the shape of its stems. She always takes the time to make our patients feel cared for, especially on their first Infusion visits. To me, she has helped me grow as a MA and has given me additional education to improve my job skills. She always makes sure we are aware of any messages from providers to help us improve our safety. She has even taken the task of learning how to speak Spanish to be able to speak and understand her patients better. She is just a well rounded nurse and I couldn't think of anyone better to receive this award.

I had the pleasure of being trained by the wonderful Selena during my not so easy transition from ER to Oncology. From day one, miss Selena was wonderful and made me feel very welcomed and always had great words of encouragement for me even on the days I wasn't so sure this was for me. Miss Selena's compassion is palpable across the board with her patients and with staff as well. She always has time, even when she herself is behind on tasks, to be a helping hand with staff as well as with her patients. When patients have questions and miss Selena is not sure of the answer, she does not stop until she finds it. She is a great example of what a nurse should be and even better coworker. I hope to become half the nurse Selena is one day.

Tiwa is such an amazing nurse that always goes the extra mile and doesn't avoid the hard tasks. There are so many examples of her showing exemplary character - the most recent being when she made the hard call to report a patient voicing suicidal ideation. Tiwa didn't take it as a joke or try to ignore it. She immediately hopped into action to report it and made sure the patient received the help he needed. The infusion room was so busy that day and she could have easily brushed it aside, but she didn't. She did her duty as a nurse and advocated to find the proper care for a deeply troubled patient. Her actions gained an incredible amount of respect from myself and other members of the infusion team. She didn't dodge her responsibilities. She stood up for her patient's safety and mental health. She is an incredible person and co-worker.
